Apple wired Mighty Mouse

  • Nice simple design.
  • It has that Apple feel to it.
  • Setup is extremely easy via System Preferences.
  • No extra software required.
  • Cool features via extra buttons.
  • It could use more buttons, though.
  • No 'back' and 'forward' buttons like on most other mice.
  • I sometimes inadvertently activate the side 'squeeze' buttons.
  • The 360-degree scroll ball is very convenient.
  • However, the scroll ball rarely gets stuck.
  • Nice accurate tracking; no problems whatsoever.
  • Touch-sensitive buttons can sometimes be annoying.
  • Buttons are pretty quiet.
  • USB cable is short, but it's not a problem with the right setup.

Summary: The wired Mighty Mouse is a good mouse. Using touch-sensitive buttons, it's definitely not the mouse for everyone. If you are used to the feel of Apple's mice and like extra functionality in a sleek package, then the Mighty Mouse is probably the right choice. Already an obvious note, this mouse works beautifully with Mac OS X and its features.

Welcome to Quickly Plugged!

I would like to welcome you to another blog of mine! This one is called Quickly Plugged and will be focused solely on technology reviews, but with a minor twist. This isn't your average technology review site. The reviews you will find here will be quick and to the point, no questions asked. I'll review products that I personally own and will let you know whether they are worth purchasing.

If you would like to see any specific products reviewed, simply say so in any of the comments sections. Also feel free to email me at daviddifranco@gmail.com. I look forward to (quickly) reviewing products for everyone!
